Design & Build

We pioneered turnkey office design and build in 1977, so really know our stuff.

Our reason for providing D&B was that many Clients were fed up with the time consuming and confusing process of appointing and managing an interior designer and all the sub-contractors required to undertake an office fit-out. They wanted a safe pair of hands, a single point of contact, faster completion times and guarantees their project would be completed on budget and on time.

We undertake design and build projects throughout the UK and Europe.

DDA Equalities

The Equality Act 2010 (EA) is a law designed to end discrimination. The EA replaces the earlier Disability Discrimination Act 1995 (DDA). It applies to all forms of work, except service in the Armed Forces.

As an employer, you need to think about making reasonable adjustments to your business as part of your duties under the Equality Act 2010. The best approach is to build this into your employment policies and when any work or maintenance is carried out in your building.

CDM

The projects FSL undertake generally fall within the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015.

The aim of these CDM regulations is to integrate Health & Safety into the management of the project and to encourage everyone involved to work together. We are ideally placed to comply with these regulations as all parties are in house leading to excellent communication and co-operation, the key focus for effective Health & Safety.

FSL has an in-house Health & Safety Department and a CDM Co-ordinator to assist the Client with their duties.

Move Management

The FSL Office Move Management team have been selected for their stealth and fuss-free approach.

Often the unsung heroes of the relocation project, much of what they achieve in very short periods of time saves money as well as sanity (often entire floors are moved seamlessly overnight).
